Asphalt Patching
Removal and Replacement is typically used for severe deterioration, when existing base has been affected. The damaged area is squared and saw cut. The old base is excavated to a depth that ensures stability of the new asphalt. Aggregate, if needed, is added and compacted, preparing the area for new asphalt. Hot mix is added, rolled and compacted. The transition from this type of patch is level with the existing asphalt.
Asphalt patching is an economical solution to your asphalt investment. Areas that become damaged and are allowed to deteriorate further result in a much more expensive alternative.
